I will recommend it if someone wants to stay in Montmarte as a regular hotel, which fulfills the basics of a stay. Beyond that, I think they could improve many things. The rooms are not clean, the bathroom shower is clogged, the beds are very uncomfortable and noisy, there are no personal plugs or personal lights. These are details that make the difference. The staff friendly and willing, some more than others. They could guide you a little more when you arrive. My reservation was cut in two parts and I never understood correctly what was the reason, and I had to check out in the middle of my stay. I think they should have located me immediately in another room, because of the inconvenience. The kitchen is very well equipped and organized.
terrible smell in the room
I will definitely come back to the village .
This was my first international hostel stay and I have no complaints! Was close to a Metro, markets, cafes, and restaurants. I stayed in a four dorm, was comfortable and clean. Staff was pleasant and always happy help. I was really only at the hostel to sleep, but I enjoyed my time at the terrace and the lobby. Would recommend!
Merci !
Great location, super friendly staff, superb atmosphere... hope to come again..
No nightlight on bed, not enough sockets in room, painting works were in progress... Staff was excellent though.
Le Village Montmartre was a great place to stay in Paris. Yasmine at the desk is wonderful and very helpful. Loved that the kitchen was open 24/7 and it had everything I needed to cook. Location was good because you could easily walk to all parts of the city and the metro and bus was right there as well. The only area that could use improvement is the social aspect. It would be awesome if they organized activities at night. I would definitely stay here again!
I am so glad we found this hostel. My daughter and I stayed together in one of the female dormitory rooms. The cost was so affordable that it helped us have more money to do more in Paris. We enjoyed our roommates. We loved staying in Montmartre because it felt more authentic than other parts of Paris. The staff helped us out every time we needed assistance without a moment's hesitation. The hostel is quick walk from at least 3 metro stations so we could get anywhere in Paris we wanted very easily. Plus, the neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants and grocery stores.
